ABOUT PAUL JEWELS FRICS
Paul Jewels is a Chartered Surveyor who has almost 30 years of experience as an Independent Surveyor based just outside Barnstaple in North Devon.
Predominantly he carries out survey reports on residential properties of all types. These will range from large Listed properties, traditional dwellings, flat conversions, cottages as well as new dwellings. His vast experience in the area has made him familiar with traditional construction such as cob and thatch and his local knowledge is important in respect of local matters such as flooding.
In addition to carrying out surveys on private homes Paul also carries out survey reports on commercial properties to include pubs, nursing homes and small hotels as well as carrying out schedules of condition on commercial properties such as shops and warehouses.
A large percentage of clients are from recommendations via estate agents in the area many of whom are regularly recommending Paul as a truly independent and experienced Chartered Surveyor.
In addition to carrying out a survey on the property Paul provides recommendations of contractors who are able either to carry out further investigation or to prepare quotations for matters highlighted within reports.
Paul lives and works from his home just outside Barnstaple in North Devon, living with his wife Sandra and teenage twins Sarah and Adam.
Paul enjoys a busy life in North Devon and his great passion is fund raising for the Wooden Spoon (the Rugby Union Nations charity).
He also has interests in sport and is an active member of a local church.
